Maybe go and listen to a live band somewhere... either that, or go see a movie.

See a band, people watch, play music around a fire, any of these things......... laugh, chill out, talk sh*te all night, enjoy someone's company, because I genuinely like them as a person.

I like to go to an event usually. Like an outdoor venue or band. I hate going to movies on a first date.....no one talks!!
And dinner is kinda boring.......

Have a coffee,go to a concert in the park,take a long drive,go roller skating,walk in the mall,have dinner an a drink.
Is this the 1st,2nd or 3rd... Everyone is different,it's how well you connect on meeting??? Who know

- Take a cooking class - Troll a bookstore - An indoor rock climbing wall - Pool; this is a good one because I am terrible and I require the "stand behind me and help me" lesson!! 
As long as it's not too loud or distracting, like the movies, I like to have an activity -- a little eye candy/background -- but something that allows me to focus on my date. 
The worst is having the activity take over the date. Saying, "uh" or not being able to have a conversation sucks azzzzzzzzzzzz!

I would say something like playing pool and having a few drinks or even going to a batting cage.
