overcoming fear ?

Depends on what I'm fearful OF. Most intellectual or emotional issues...I just plunge in, head first...and get after it. The fear goes away almost immediately, and the resolution always makes me feel better!

The first time I repelled out of a perfectly good helicopter, I threw up on the guy below me. After he kicked my azz, I never had that "kind" of fear about anything after that. Now being scared is another issue. When you are in places that people have guns and they don't like you, fear is a great motivator, and being scared is the norm.

singing "I lIKE TO MOVE IT, MOVE IT" from the Madagascar cartoon really loudly and dancing in my head. That drowns out the thoughts of what i'm fearful of and makes me smile at the inside joke.
