No.. I do not make first contact because I guess I'm a little old school and thinks a man should make contact. If someone that I find interesting never contacts me then I suppose there is no interest on his part. Plus I just fear rejection as well.

I can usually find something to say, something which encourages a reply, something that doesn't leave me open to rejection, humilation and utter despair if i don't get a response. I write to people first all the time, whether I've been interested in them in a romantic nature, one of friendship, or even just with the intent to say a few words of nothing overly important. |

Hmmmm, interesting! I never knew that there are just as many women afraid of rejection as there are men!
 And all this time...I thought it was "little-o-me"!  (and some of it may very well be)!
