Topic: I love you but I am not IN love with you... | |
---|---|
have you ever heard this? What does this mean? It makes absolutely no sense to me... it means ......I care about you....but I am no longer excited. if you seen a family standing outside a burning home late at night you may care about them, but it isnt love.... and if I was laying naked in your bed you may be excited, but it wouldnt be love either!!!! |

BUT, I've also heard it when the guy was scared to death to admit to either of us that he was too in love.
Sometimes, they need to reckon w/ their demons - and they return aware of the error, hopefully in time! |

You can love someone for their personality . How they treat you, respect and a whole lot of other reasons. But you just not in true heart wrenching love with them. It has nothing to do with booty calls, being excited or cheating on someone. And for the people who use that term incorrectly ? Well maybe they need to re evaluate their standards. Please do not take this personally.

It means he/she just is not that into you.
Ya know. That has got to be one of the weakest pop culture phrases I have heard in a long time. It seems like that is the excuse for everything. Guy doesn't show up for a date?? He's not that into you. Guy wants to have sex with you using a goat, motor oil, jumper cables and some peach preserves?? he's not that into you. Get a grip. Maybe you screwed up. * And no. I am not referring directly to the person I am quoting here. |

Yes, and i always ask if we can keep having sex until we find someone else I tell her, "I may not be Mr. Right, but I'll have sex with you until he shows up!" When she inevitably scoffs at me, I tell her, "Hey, don't be so picky. I wasn't." |

It's also another way of saying, "Yes, I want to have sex, just not with you." I think this is true. This is what the ex wife said before she slept with another man and than left me and the kids for him. If it makes you feel any better mine pulled the same sh!t. |

It had absolutely nothing to do with any of your actions??? Wow. It would seem that responsibility for one's own actions no longer applies. |

Just to clarify, NO, my boyfriend has NOT said this to me, I was just pulling a Mirror/ Peccy and asking a question to get your opinions on what it means to you.
No relationship drama, just curious as to if people have heard this and what it means... |
