Maybe the fact that it is absolutely anything BUT a dating site. It's a fun site, and the forums can be amusing, but it seems that people on here aren't interested in actually meeting another human being in the least. This seems to be just about as productive as going on those cheesy chat rooms where 50 year old convicts pretend to be 20 year old blonde girls. Oh, and the censorship of people's swearing. Are we children? Do we really need to be that protected?

To a certain extent, I can kinda see the benefit of it, because if it wasn't implemented, you KNOW some jagbag would abuse it. By the same token, we ARE (allegedly) all adults here. When I see grown people afraid to properly print the word, "ass", it does make me wonder if some of these folks are really still in kindergarten, afraid of being punished for a supposedly "bad" word. Personally, the way I see it, if it can be said on television or radio, I see no reason why it can't be said on a public forum. If it's good enough for the FCC to give it the okay, then it should be okay everywhere. I've NEVER heard of anybody falling over dead of a heart attack from reading, hearing, writing, or saying any given word or words. *EDIT* Damn typos!

Haven't been on here long, but the mutual match thingy....taken care of by just deleting the person if you don't want to be 'mutally matched'.
<<has yet to meet a man who seriously wants to pursue anything but an online....quasi-relationship it seems. So yeah, I agree. Can't really call this a dating site...so far.....LOL! |
