on every white lie you catch? Or do you let it go and keep a mental file to possibly be used in a future argument? I can't let it go .I have to say something about it |

i let em go on all, big and small, if they are, and they hang themselves eventually, and my intuition protects me from harm, for i know the difference. i save grace and face, for i don't say anything that i would regret later, and i may not know the whole story anyway to argue any point, one way or another......just something i've learned by experience. one also creates anymosity from the other, being nitpicky, right or wrong. it's best to be thought of in positive light if possible, for why should others actions make you change who you are?

i try not to save it, if i can help it, for it doesn't allow that person to grow and change in your mind, and learn from those mistakes, everybody remembers, just for preservations sake, but we all change and grow, and if we've learned our lesson, that's good. we just have to hope the lying one in question does the same.
when i was little, people put me in a classification, and held me there, no matter what i did. it was awful. they wouldn't allow me to change in their minds and held their stereotype of me, even after i left and came back 20 years later......nobody recognized me, but when they found out it was me, they tried to hold me back there again.....it just has to be blown off sometimes. |
