What's the alternative? I can understand not allowing oneself to permit rejection to even occur. I'm one of those people myself, but it didn't come from hating it so much. Granted, that was PART of it, but it was largely due to the fact of the repetition of it. The more commonplace it becomes, the more you come to terms with it and accept it, and realize that perhaps this is how it's intended to be for you. I've combated the problem by no longer trying, therefore I no longer fear facing rejection. If I don't go looking for it, I can't get rejected. Problem solved. |
