Amelie was SO bizarre, I didn't even understand it was a romance flick until the very end. Yet another one I had to watch for Film class, but I didn't care much for it...I don't think a lot of other guys would either. But foreign films are a good place to search for that kind of thing, I wonder if we have anyone from other countries on here who knows of any good ones?

Amores perros (Love's a B*tch)...the dog fighting scenes were very hard for me to watch. This was done by the same guy that did 21 Grams (another good bizarre love story) and Babel. And another Spanish film called Live Flesh was also a good bizarre love story. |

True Romance is one of my favorite movies of all time...Quentin Tarentino's first effort...he wrote it...talk about movie stars...damn !!...Christian Slater...Patricia Arquette...Brad Pitt...Gary Oldham...Val Kilmer...James Gandolfini...Christopher Walken...Dennis Hopper...anyone I forget ?...a great great movie !! |
