Topic: A question for ladies only -- please | |

OK ladies, here's my question... I'm going to see a show with my husband in a few weeks, and I've found a really nice dress. It fits like a dream, except with these legs of mine, the hem hits a little above my knee. (Just an inch or so.) I haven't bought it yet because of that. I like it, and it doesn't look bad.. But what do you think? (for someone in our age range)

Check the hem, if you are really uncomfortable with it's length, maybe you can take the hem down a bit and feel more comfortable.
Have fun! |

If she's questioning it I took it to mean she may feel uncomfortable and tried to give her a remedy. |

As long as you can wear it comfortably and without twitching and tugging it, please go for it.
Hose and taupe shoes are supposed to be great leg lengtheners to help in styling.... Have fun! |

I was just adding my thoughts to what you said. |

I think it's a good rule of thumb to dress to flatter our figure. If we are comfortable with it, and our significant other is happy, then go for it.
If you will be self-conscious and embarrassed by it, then dress according to your comfort. |

You can always try leggings under the dress. You still get the look, but everything important is covered up. |
