Topic: Am I dateable? | |
---|---|
Am I dateable? I'm starting to wonder; many men and women seem to like me, but they don't seem to be like-minded. I want someone that likes me for me... someone that doesn't think of the distance if we are far from each other. (Obviously distance is not the main thing-if I really fall for someone I wouldn't mind relocating).
I'm just trying to put myself out there for people to know--on this site. Hopefully I will get some feedback & maybe meet someone. Thanks, Tyleah |

With only 13 posts, it is hard to say if you are "dateable" or not. And with only being 19, I do not think you should be rushing in wanting a relationship. You are young, enjoy it, embrace. Be happy with you. You still have lots of time to find the right one for you.

Stay yourself and you will be found by the right one might be here (mingle) or anywhere else, life is sometimes full of surprises. |

You may not want to put so much out there about what you are willing to do or sacrifice...too may people will take advantage of that and that's probably the last thing you need. Just be yourself, set your own boundaries and expectations, and see what happens. Good Luck!

I don't think there's anyone who's NOT dateable. Well ok...Charles Manson maybe...but only because he's in prison.
Like my Mama always said: For every pot there's a lid out there somewhere. |

Hopefully I will get some feedback & maybe meet someone. Thanks, Tyleah I think there's a big difference between "dateable" and "finding someone who really fits." On some level, everybody (with the possible exception of my ex-wife and at least one of her sisters) is hypothetically "dateable." What I have found to be the issue is the simple lack of availability of anyone who even remotely meets my criteria. Sure, I could be "dateable" if I wanted to accept a scenario where I would end up being bored to death in three months, or where I would be stuck with one of those people who devotes her life to changing me into a farm animal. But I don't want to do that anymore. I've played that game, it's not fun. So I've decided I'm either going to find someone who REALLY fits -- which is not going to happen on a dating site -- or be alone. Period. Of course, eHarmony has already proclaimed me "unmatchable" so the odds are against me....! |

You just got here give it time. The best things in life are worth waiting for you know. Sounds corny I know. You are very dateable. Don't give up. There is someone out there for everyone. Don't be too quick. Do some fishing. Find out who you want. Chating is A great way to do that. Have fun! Don't be A stranger or at least any stranger than most. Good luck and may the force be with you!

It is not so much about you being datable as it is about is there anyone out there that is worthy of dating you. At 19 don't rush it have fun and don't settle just because you want to be in a relationship.
