He is with me at every moment. I guess if even I were from any other
faith I will feel Him in the same way.
I'll get strenght soon.

Hi JSH,

I think it's pretty easy to see that I believe in a Heavenly Father,
Jesus his son, and the Holy Spirit. I enjoy reading the bible, and
studying many other paths that people believe.

I also enjoy people finding truth within themselves. JSH Religion Chat
is cool because one thing that we can all agree on, is it will all come
out in the wash.

JSH in general shows us how different and special we all are, and that
there are a few sides to all of us. I have a ton of respect for some of
the people up here knowing that we believe maybe 180 degrees
differently.

I thank all of you, for being you, and sharing what you feel, see, and
have learned.

peace,

michael

I like when it is peaceful in this section of JSH. I Think that all off
you really made an effort yesterday to keep the peace, even with people
that you may disagree with.

That was (for me) very pleasant to see. I just would like to commend you
for your caring spirits toward each other. I'm sure if people from the
outside looking in would have seen this, they would think about joining.

I think one problem with religious people is that they have been brought
up in a certain faith. Like sheep they follow the ceremonies that they
are requested to attend without ever really thinking about it. For them
it is more a tradition than anything else.
I have been brought up with a certain faith myself, but at an early age
I started to question things, and the only answer of the pastors was
just to follow the rules and I would be alright.
So I have chosen to leave the church, find my own answers and follow my
own path. It has worked for me because I don't easily fit in boxes. For
others it won't work because they are caught up too much in the
tradition and worry about what other people think about them.

I grew up without a faith, so it was a little different for me. Isn't
funny how we are all so different?

But isn't that the beauty of diversity?
We are all different, we all go a different paths, and yet in the end
they all lead to the one God.

That's how I feel. God must keep pretty good notes to keep up with all
of us.

Yes, and sharing without prejudice with others that have chosen
different paths, if we could do just that......

I'll tell you a little story. I was in the Irish "family" if you know
what I mean.

One night I was delivering a big shipment of drugs, no kidding, a voice
came into my head. "why are you doing this?" I rolled down the window,
and threw them out. Everyone pulled their piece and said "What the Eff
are you doing"? I said shoot me, I don't care, my life changed right
then, and I never heard of any religion, or bible, or any of that stuff.

So I broke into a church that night and said, OK, you better show me
because I don't have a clue.

And that's how it started for me.

So for me I know I have no right judging anyone. If someone else wants
to play that, "No Biggie", but for me I cry out for the answers, and
they come.

simple math, I love everyone now.

Michael,
thank you for being so open.
Your story shows that we all have the option, that it is ours to
choose, and most of all that it can't be forced on us. It has to come
from inside, by our own will.

When I bought this house in Wisconsin I wasnt sure if it was the right
decision. My first week here I woke one morning early at 5 am...fixed a
cup of coffee.and put on my robe to have morning coffee on the deck and
watch the sun come up..I walked out on the deck and there in the birch
tree..10 ft away..was a large bald eagle sitting on a branch...he didnt
take off right away..but looked over his shoulder at me as I came thru
the door...like he was saying “oh..it’s you”....I could see the muscles
on his back and wings as he lifted up off the
branch...the branch went down because of his weight...and I watched him
fly away...guess I had my answer...For me at that instant..it was a
spiritual moment..when everything in the outside world shut down..and it
was only the "moment" that mattered..A great totem image for me..and a
reminder to always look for signs in life....anyway I realized that I
was in the right place. The eagle has come back a few times...and one
winter I watched the eagle family with 2 chicks..stand on the ice by
open water on the lake trying to catch fish...very cool.

Never answered this...suppose I should....I'm more spiritual than
anything else. I was raised being taught the ways of the Navajo and
Catholicism but my momma always said that I was to find my own path in
life what suited me, made me feel comfort and peace. Structured doesn't
work for me, too rigid for my brain too many damned rules. I am by
choice, Wiccan, (go ahead and scream and yell), but more so spiritual
than even Wiccan...

Cherub...I love wiccan philosophy...also pagan...
have gotten a bad rap thru the ages...you do have
to remind yourself that these belief systems are
older than christianity I think...
