I'm going to throw rocks at him when I see him. 
I finally got a call. His phone died and (either didn't pack it (which is what I think)) lost his phone charger on the flight up to michigan. [Side note he is up here visiting his brother and family] And he got just enough battery to call to tell me that his phone died and his got sick. [And to his defense sounded horrible over the phone]  I don't know.
Hmmm....maybe check out that city's newspaper's obits.

I got stood up yesterday for a date! And it's the first time that I have ever been stood up!
Oh well! I went to another restaraunt and have a nice time by myself!

I don't like that I was stood up either. That is the first time that this has happened, I have never been stood up for a date. He is riding a very thin line with me. I don't even know if I will meet him, if he feels better before going back down to florida. I don't know. He has some potential but I have very little tolerance for somethings.

Dead cell phone isn't a good enough excuse for me. There are pay phones and other ways to make a call. He should have tried harder and shown some respect. I can imagine how hurt you must have felt.
At least you still went out.

I was more embarrassed and irritated that I was waiting at a restaraunt looking stupid.  I don't know I feel the same way about his making more of an effort, calling the restaraunt or something. I understand that he was really really sick, like flu sick, but still.
I will probably confront him on all this when he calls back, either he can see my perspective or not. |

The only acceptable excuse that I see for no phone call would be if he is unconscious in an ER or dead. He could have called you before you left the house to go to the restaurant!!! He's visiting people? What? They don't have a phone? |

That sucks! I would never stand somebody up like that. I would at least have the guts to call to tell you Im not interested. Forget him you deserve better. Ya and its his loss not yours kid. I pitty him and you can take that to the bank.
