Wow...Al Hendrix is still alive? I know he also had a brother, Leon and a sister. They control the estate. Unlimited Experience I think they call it. Previously all of Hendrixes archives were in the hand of a former manager named Alan Douglas. Did you know that Mitch Mitchell recently died?

Dunno if he still is alive, but he was the night Terry knocked. Terry is VERY honest and one of my best friends. He's not the type to even try to make things up. Like me, Terry is WAY too honest for his own good. He's my bro. Gotta tell ya, though...
One night, we're hangin' out, tight as thieves, and Terry looks at me w/ SO much love and says: "Kate, you're my n!gga ... "
Ya know, I'm from the South - hate the word(!!!), it gutted me ... I NEVER let on - I've got stellar game face, but the inner dayyuuum ... ugghhh, Good times ...

I love Miles SO much! Was he tortured or what? I never came in your jazz zone thread, but I LOVE jazz. It is what I drive w/ ... Miles, Charlie Parker, Coltraine, Thelonius Monk, ya know .. the whole drill. I just let public radio dj me up ...

I found it once, the whole song. It is from "The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm." It is the partial song that you can hear being whistled in this trailer. It was my 1st favourite song! It still is ... 1st favourite movie too, guess I was 2 or 3. Still remember it like yesterday! This only gives a glimpse of the song in the whistlin'. WOW, I like it! What a name, huh? My daughter has the kewlest name too. Here's a lil story... Her Dad and I could deeply agree on about 12 boys names, w/ a short list of 6 we were just mad for. Girls names? We hated each other's choices, and that is putting it mildly. Noone told me I'd have to compromise ... and he didn't get the memo either. Then, we found one name we both stoned loved!!! It means "Crown" in Hebrew, "Beautiful" in Scottish Gaelic, and "Lovely" in Yiddish ...
Only name that had 3 root strains like that. And ONLY girls name we could agree on. When she was born and they brought her towards me w/ her knees closed... then opened her legs for my glimpse into the deeper meaning of destiny ... I remember thinking ... "Hmm, there's definitely no pen!s" ... 
And - so - the first word off my lips to her ... was her name ...
