Can it finally be spring? The wind isn't too bad today and the temp was lovely! I bought a patio rug and sat outside with my cat and a book... Today it really DOES feel like the "Land of Enchantment!" You should really consider a golfing, UFO spotting vacation when you get back from the quest! I have been considering something like that. The team is wanting to do a meetup in Vegas. Probably next Summer. Might have to add that UFO spotting into the trip. A little golf would work out well too. lol My daughter and I are going to Vegas in June...long story short, we helped introduce a guy/girl who are 6 years later getting married. Perfect excuse for my 23 yr old and I to have a mini-vaca! |

Who the hell are the Priests of the Temple of Syrinx, and why should I care? And do their great computers (I'm assuming they're actually servers) run on Windows or Linux?

Thanks! I think I'll drink more tea and read my book. I might take a long bubblebath and walk around the house naked. If I could fit a nap in there somewhere I could be tempted to do that too!......

If the Priests of the Temple of Syrinx had run their servers based on Windows applications, the temples would have crashed repeatedly until the banning of music became a secondary thought. LOL |

Just to welcome you back properly... Paper or plastic? Kill a tree...clog a landfill?? Go with the reusable canvas bags that are so popular now. But have you noticed how those bags cost about 3 bucks each, and hold less than half the amount of stuff you can get into a normal paper or plastic bag?? I smell a conspiracy!!! |

Some guys, myself included find the goof card endearing. Personally I am fond of the smartass card. Relax, if you are too tense the the goof will run wild.

Some guys, myself included find the goof card endearing. Personally I am fond of the smartass card. Relax, if you are too tense the the goof will run wild. I totally agree. A woman who can be a goof and be comfortable with it is far more interesting than one that gets all uptight about something silly. Well said, dude.

Have fun, I get my new nephew in June... Yeah, well...it's a wedding date taking us there in June. A guy I worked with was interested in a girl my daughter worked with and we got the phone number thing going for them. That was 6 - almost 7 years ago and the rest is history! They are getting married and invited us. They call off the wedding and we are STILL going to go play...if we need a chaparone, will you come defend our honor and be our designated driver? Congrats on the new nephew, too! |

Well you guys are few and far between...
Honestly? I don't think guys like us are really all that rare. We wanna be able to laugh and be as relaxed as possible on a date just like women want to do. But, when considering all the competition there is out there, people get uptight and put WAY too much pressure on themselves to be " perfect ". Spill something on your shirt/pants/blouse ( whatever ) and it's suddenly " OMG THE DATE IS RUINED!!! " Guess what. Not if you can laugh about it. |
