What is the coolest car on the planet? The most expensive? The ugliest? The loudest? The fastest? The best for a midlife crisis? I'm planning to buy one of those cars one day (Potentially just big enough for me and a dog OR a boy-toy which should absolutely NOT be one and the same! LOL!) 1. (coolest) Ferrari Murcielago ![]() 2. (most expensive) - The one you're asking for. 3. (ugliest) Pontiac Aztec 3. (loudest) Try a Hemi-Cuda with a flowmaster exhaust, no catalytic converter 4.(fastest) McLaren F1. ![]() 5.(best for midlife crisis) Good sex. Forget about the damn cars, those are compensation for the absence of sex. |

Hey JAG... Twice I emailed someone who used to be an M2-er and generally got along with to basically say "hope things are okay and that life is good." Literally, about 2-3 sentences of email. Got a SCATHING and extremely long reply to the second one saying no one here was worth the space they take up on the planet, that no one ever contacted this person after they deactivated (ummmm...me?) and that they only wrote back to tell me (essentially) to take a hike with all the rest of the people in the world. That's fine...an incredibly sad way to live,IMO, but whatever...I was just trying to be nice and I certainly have deleted the contact info and won't write again, as per my 'instructions' in the nasty-gram. Anyway, I'm wondering: How people can survive with such negative attitudes? I dunno. For some, it would seem that misery is their life's blood. Do you think that's real all the time or do they put on an act in order to exist day to day?
I know a couple of people like that. They don't bother with an act. They are just miserable about life in general. Do you think it's genetic? Upbringing? A physical or mental illness?
I couldn't even begin to guess what it is that makes some people like that. Do you think someone like that has been that way all their life on some level or is it just life's beaten them down?
I think that in most cases, it's life that has turned them bitter. They have decided to embrace misery rather than go through the effort of finding happiness. Just my opinion. Was I out of line to bother to say 'hi' and that I was thinking of this person?
Not at all. The person was out of line for not being gracious enough to appreciate the gesture and thought behind the contact. |

Will the highway be blocked for a missle firing tomorrow morning when I have to drive west on it? (Seriously...happens all the time and means an hour delay on the side of the road if you get caught in the roadblock! Bizarre, huh?) Kinda late to answer this one,.....but I am guessing that it was...lol |

If things evolve (yeah, back to that...and there was a second question to your first response about monkeys/apes last night that you missed, babe! ![]() Why do people still have an appendix, but somewhere I read that kids were being born without buds for wisdom teeth due to mouths being too small to accomodate them in most cases? Why one and not another body part? Why does a platypus have a duck's bill and a beaver's tail???? Who knows why we have what we have...lol |

I had cheesecake at a 'coffee and dessert' social this evening after only having a salad the rest of the day. Why, why, why did I do that and why, why, why does a big dose of sugar on an empty stomach make you feel sick??? Part 1....glutton for punishment. Part 2....your stomach will revolt when it hasn't had a whole lot of anything during the day, and is then assaulted by a rich food like cheesecake. |

I'll go with the answers Atlantis posted...except that I think the coolest car is a '67 GTO. |

I've had to eat my words/jokes about "they must be all washed up" when musicians play the casino circuit. I took my son to a Styx concert tonight in Ruidoso and it was a blast...from the past, sure...but a blast all the same! We had a great time! I'm so lucky my teenager doesn't mind being seen in public with his MOM!
