Tell me, is there someone real out there? I keep getting mail from these guys who aren't who they say they are. They don't have a cam, now I know why, because they aren't who they say they are. They tell me they love me after 2 or 3 mails and I reply back saying that is impossible, but they insist, then all of a sudden they have to travel far away and next thing you know, they have had an accident or have been robbed and need money to go back home. What is the matter with people, it makes us very discouraged thinking there really isn't anyone out there that is real.

Sounds like all you've run into lately are scammers!!! Bless your heart!! There really are a lot of fine folks here, but I will say, if you reply to one scammer, many more find out and follow!!

There really are a lot of great people in the 50's threads. Those scammers prey on anyone who will listen, not just us. Even my nephew got taken in by one of them a couple of years ago. Just be careful.

There are definitely some "smooth operators" out there (and some not so smooth) but if WE are real, then there have to be other real folks out there too. My rule...if they ask you to call them, or want your personal email address right away, watch out! Keep it safe...email via the site for awhile before proceeding further.
