haven't seen enemies self destruct, only friends self destruct, maybe the enemies do self destruct but don't show it, if they did, wouldn't laugh, would be indifferent to it

Nope. If they aren't anyone I particularly care for, they can self-destruct all they want and it'd be none of my business.

I don't like seeing anyone self destruct. I would try to help but unless someone wants it...they won't accept it.

Watching people self destruct was basiclly my career so yes a few I didn't like very much. What stopped me from helping them go down was that every one of them was someones child, parent, spouse and they were usually taking several people down the tubes; a lot of times kids.

I admidt there are times when you think it would be better for the kids to just make them see how horrible the person at fault is but that is rarely how kids feel about their family. THey expect society/parents to step up and fix the problem.

I watched my best friend of ten yrs disintegrate.
He was over ten yrs sober, started drinking and using again.
He had a mental health history, but when he stopped drinking, he got so much better.
When he started drinking again he went way off the deep end.

I gotta few dead freinds. And a few dead enemies. I'm not going to put myself in the line of fire. It hurts too much.

But I've helped a few people in my time.

It does often involve alcohol or drugs doesn't it? The one particular person I'm thinking of won't let any of us get close enough to find out if this is the case. Although it's suspected.
