Like the old joke says "Hell, I'm tellin' everybody!"
Yeah, I'm sure it was some set policy, or some cop was watching, or the checker was legally blind....but I got carded buying beer today at 47!!! Sure it's dumb, but I'm still telling everybody!

at the airport bar, sign says that everyone gets carded..so its policy...i wonder if the same policy applies to cigarettes...i got carded for that a few weeks ago..guy thought i had a fake id..go figure

well, they keep wanting me to sign my own death certificate, and i keep refusing.......now, they want me to pay rent for my crypt!!!! you believe it!!!

ahhh... the airport bar. my personal favorite! nothinkg like getting hammered then boarding an airplane. i got in trouble once cuz i was drunk and was macking on the stewardess. Almost grabbed her ass. thank god i didnt.

a year or so ago i got asked for ID buying booze in a supermarket. At the time you had to be 18 to buy booze here(21 now), and the kid serving me must have been about that age. So i said something along the lines of 'Do i really look like i would be in your class at school?', and they realised they were being stupid and served me.
I even had a full beard! |

Yes. The airport bar...quite likely the only thing to make transatlantic flights suck a little less. The only time a $6 beer seems reasonable.

im 45yrs old and i still get carded. people think im 16yrs old. and im a mother of 2 and grandmother of 3.
i even got carded one time for cashing in some lotto tickets that belong to a friend of mine.. |
