Since believers are not require to go beyond the scope of the bible then exactly what would they be doing in Heaven besides worshipping a God .

also is the Christian Singles Forum a reflection of how Heaven will be with nothing left to talk about or disagree with and thus condemning the occupants to become stagnant in thought …

what can Heaven dwellers talk about that wouldn’t be considered by God to be blasphemous …no science ...no politics ...no new thoughts or ideas that doesn't include how to submit to God

That all a believer can do in Heaven is to praise God only and only talk about ways to serve God and nothing beyond that for an eternity.... seems to be the place most like Hell

According to South Park the only religion that will get you to heaven is Mormonism.

Even then,

If there is no booz, broads, or 4:20 in heaven count me out!

My dad used to say that heaven is for those people who like the sort of things they do in heaven- singing psalms, praising g-d, watering potted plants; whereas hell is for those people who like the sort of things they do in hell...

I've believed the saying that you go to heaven for the weather, hell for the company.

Heaven is descibed as a place where you are prostlagating yourself in front of your creator 24/7/365/eternity. Yeah, bowing, singing hymns of praise, and lauding someone else, sounds like how I wanted to spend eternity.

Hell is descibe as a place of clawing, and the nashing of teeth. You know why? It will be packed. Nope, not going to be much room there, because that is where 99.9% of all of us will end up. No one can live up to the rules set forth in the bible, especially if you believe that fraud Paul.

Between the two, how do they say "better to live free in suffering than be a pampered servant."

These descriptions of heaven and hell where do they come from?

Tis better to rule in Hell than serve in Heaven

Someone once drew a picture of heaven based on the description and dimentions set for in biblical prophecy. A giant apartment building from the look and sound of it.

Hell is mostly a medival times. Since what is mostly mentioned in the bible is the Pit. And that is never well defined. As well as hell being eternal separation from god.

Likewise letters to Santa Claus, granted.

but because they write doesn't make this place any more real (to me) or should it?

Heavans description comes from Rev 7:13-16 if I remember right. I'd actually have to look up the discription of hell.

according to the way I was taught the bible, it is a place that God will create at the time of the judgement. But it's not a place, more like a plane of exhistance

Not being ignorant, just curious and thankful I am receiving input.

If God will create heaven/hell at time of judgement, do we all share that one judgement day? does everyone have their own judgement day?

"AndyBgood" ..since once in Heaven you will no longer be of the flesh means booz wouldn't have any effect ....the broads will be ghost women without the benefit of sex and the 4:20 will become John 3:16

a Metaphysical place perhaps...since people in either place supposedly would no longer be of the flesh

No one is in Heaven, except Christ and God the Father. When you die, everyone goes back to the ground, until the resurrection.

The Goddess that created life here is on Planet Nibirus - sector 12A Universe Nebula, which is 12 billion light years away from here. She is not interested in returning here at the moment. Though one day she will when the population reaches a certain amount well beyond 20 billion to feed all her children.

So enjoy a heavenly life for it will be awhile before we have such a population to experience a hell of a time.
