I don't know. It doesn't seem to be a big deal around here. I see interracial couples everywhere. I'm sure some people still judge, but who cares? I'm happy. He's happy. We like each other. No one around us (who matters anyway) has ever said anything negative. Those who matter don't mind, and those who mind don't matter.

I noticed in the Chicago area, interracial couples do tend to live in parts of the city where it's more acceptable. That's a dayum shame, they gotta uproot just to be accepted.

More progressive is always a good thing. I mean let's move upward and onward. I feel sorry for folks who hang on to those old beliefs. They ain't going no where fast.
 It's almost sad.

Well... being that I'm the product of a interracial relationship, I'd have to say that I'm not against them at all. Of course I may have my preferences, but I'm not against such arrangements in the least.

I have daughters who are interracial and I have been in relationships that I chose and they have mostly been with whom I want........... I have never had a problem being in one and of course families are apprehensive (from both sides) but when they get to know you and him........they usually are accepting and loving...........I think as long as you love that person its really not an issue with the couple its an issue with others..............what I usually say is Kiss my A$$..............lol |
