possibly my sporadic trips to the woods? or the prevalent idea that I'd rather be watching a squirrel nest with a .22 on a cold winter morning than running around looking like a complete idiot with someone who keeps wondering why I keep looking out the window and sighing...wishing I was in said woods

Once you’ve been single for awhile it gets much easier to stay that way. I’m at a point in my life where I’m very comfortable being alone so I will not settle or put up with a lot of the BS one must wade through to find someone of quality.

you're still single? I think part of it might be because I'm not putting myself out there as much as I should. I've gotten into the very comfortable habit of staying home most nights and working on crafts rather than going out into "target-rich environments". (as Dr. Phil would say, lol.) The other part, well I've gotten more picky over the years. I'm not gonna shack up with just anyone to avoid being alone. Hell, I'd rather be alone than with the wrong person.

I do believe that a talking can of tuna, the russian mob, elvis, and the mexican hat dance had something to do with it...
but in all seriousness... at the moment it is out of choice. yet before that it was due to lack of action on my part. once i resolved that things improved. annnd now i am on vacation from the dating circle. It's chill time for me!! sadly i get more attention when i don't want it. >< WTF? |
