The fruit idea is fantastic.... you can also use that new salad dressing with chunks of fruit in it, the vinegar will serve as a meat tenderizer.

depends on how you want it,, jack daniels teriyaki sauce is great for a marinade for tenderloin

I think it's called bountifuls? I bought it and use it with chunks of blue cheese... yum yum yum.

Yeah, so far I'm being good. But it's early yet!

Oh and I tried a new idea with roast chicken.... I put a lemon, quartered, inside the bird and slow roasted it with fresh garlic and rosemary (inside and on top). My 7 year old snuck into the fridge later and was eating the meat off the bird.... hehehe. How funny...

That does sound good too. I've done that with a turkey...put the lemon under the skin before putting it in the oven...yumm!

Looks like I am late but for next time.

Slice roast in 1/2 lengthwise.

In a bowl mix apple cider, diced apples, brown sugar, cinamon, salt and pepper.

Put in fridge for 2 hrs.

Spread in side roast and tie with string cook on 425 for about and hr to hr and half depending on size. Temp should be 155 internally for med rare.

cut strings and let sit for 5 mins . Slice and serve.

Find some peach jam, warm and add ginger and nutmeg with a touch of cinamin. And cook on a low heat, preferably a bbq.
