In this day and age I wouldn't say it's any better or worse than meeting in person first, as long as both people are rational... that's the sticky part no matter where you meet.

Ain't it funny how so many folks will raise an eyebrow when you tell them that you met your significant other online, but they won't bat an eye if you tell them you met in a nightclub.

you know i am new to online but i think its much different now! I mean there are lots of great people on here that are just trying to increase there chances of meeting someone! At least you get to check out whats out there, right? I dont think its any different just more opportunistic than in real life!

Im a home body an dont go out much at all. that an n my town there isnt much goin 4 it n the girl department. ive had a couple girls move down here 2 date me. so maybe i will stick with that. lol its not that hard

of course i'd date someone i met online.
online dating is a great way to get to know someone with whom you have much in common, without having to endure cumbersome first-date meetings and weed out any who are obviously not a match. |

Yes I would, Im kinda shy and It's way easy to talk to people thru mesages rather face to face.

You know your lucky if they are even within driving distance from you. I'm sure I can't have a LDR, so for me....I would think I'm kind of limited.
