You're still friends. ![]() ![]() ![]() You were even thanked. ![]() I'm glad that it all worked out for you. ![]() ![]() Now...inquiring minds want to know....where is the designated changing spot?! Lol, sorry! I should have posted that. ![]() I went to the second hand store, found a side table that looked like it would work, and put it in the bathroom against the far wall.(Is that even the right name for it? It's a small table - about 2' x 3' and about 3' high.)It's not in my way, and when she's not visiting I can put a flower vase or something on it. (edited for spelling) |

You made her feel welcomed. She has her own little spot. ![]() ![]() |

I'm really glad that we were able to talk about it without any hurt feelings or misunderstandings.
I think it helped for me to come here first and hear from other mothers before talking to her. Drinks are on me, lol. ![]() ![]() |

Really glad it all worked out for you. You sound like a great friend. The table sounds interesting. I like to refinish or paint furniture. Have so many new products that don't take so much muscle.
You might want to check the second hand stores or swap sales (Mother's of Multiples) for a diaper genie. They are pretty simple to use but pretty expensive to buy new. One of my favorite tips for new Moms is to use 3 tablespoons of dishwashing soap in a washing machine on full load to wash out stained baby clothes, diapers, and bed linens. It will fade the colors some but it will take the formula and dingy out of hand-me-downs. Taking a small picture album and put handy tips on index cards with the names and addresses on the back of each baby-shower guests is a nice keepsake. |

there is no more beautiful thing than to see friends helping each other just for the hell of it and for nothing in return!!! Very true. And especially when you have children. Even when you feel comfortable and capable as a parent it is such a blessing to have someone be your friend. SweetanFunny is a great name for this OP because she is both. |
