nothing against you personally, they're just way too trendy.

i have a tat on each inside forearm and they're both something that means something to me. and i can see them everyday without having to look in a mirror.

I have 3 tats, and i had them done at diff times of my life to symbolize changes i went thru.

I also have 3 piercings excluding my ears, all of which i like and all arent put on show to make me look trendy, i had them done for same reasons as i got my tats done.

I dont believe in judging ppl over their appearance. I would be more concerned about their personality than their body art.

it's beautiful to look at, and i will occasionally wear a bracelet and/or a necklace, but the tight, restrictive stuff (like rings) drive me crazy and i am forever turning and playing with earrings until my lobes hurt.

i love navel rings and i think they look gorgeous on women. mine lasted about a day and a half. it just drove me crazy knowing that it was there

i also love the tiny diamond stud in a woman's nose.

tattoos aren't for me. they look alright on another person and i've been known to admire artwork, even on strangers, but i just wouldn't like to be stuck wearing the same thing, forever.

I like the tramp stamp if it's not something stupid. My ex had a belly button ring with a tatoo of a sun with with a face and it's tongue was pierced.

I think belly button rings are extremely sexy, on the right woman. I'd need my abs to be much more toned to look good with one, so not for me right now. Plus, my nipple ring is still not fully healed after almost 8 months and gets quite sore at times. I would imagine a navel piercing would get just as sore and be easier to snag on things. I didn't get my first body piercing, excluding earlobes, done till last year. My birthday is this Sunday and sometime this month, my significant other was planning on having my other nipple and labia "commitment" pierced to mark the occasion. He was also planning on having a larger ring placed in the original nipple piercing, but since it is not healed, not sure that will happen.

I don't have any tatts, but if I did, I would be the type to have a small, tasteful one placed in an intimate area, or where only my significant other could find it or show it off to others.

Who cares if they're "trendy." If they mean something to the person who has them, that's what matters. Not what others think.

I have two small tattoos on my shoulder blades but no belly jewelry. I don't mind tats as long as they represent something and have meaning behind them.
