Well, I can't speak for anybody else, but I've found quite a few of those in my life. That was never the problem. It was all the other stuff. Believe me, there are things way more important than chrome-sucking -- to me.... Wow... are you taking me literally now. I used it as an expression Lex, meaning someone who rocks your world... in more ways than just one... its a sex, and love thing, babe. I just meant, once you have your world rocked proper... love... sex... the whole package... being alone just dont seem to cut it the same way! Ya know? |

Oh yeah, I know -- I wasn't trying to pick on you -- just trying to make a point -- maybe I've never had my world rocked proper, I wouldn't know -- all I have to base my thoughts on are the experiences I've experienced -- And the things I've experienced, no matter how world-rocking they were at the time, turned out to be pretty meaningless overall, in the end -- I guess there ought to be more than that, maybe....? I don't like being alone -- but I prefer it to being with the people I've been with up till now.... |

But for those who want something more... some companionship, someone to enjoy doing things with, the feeling of being connected to someone and loving it...I hope you find it!

I think you hit the nail on the head. As long as you can be happy with it then that is all that should matter. And that's one of the points I'm trying to make...I see lots who are NOT happy with it but have just resigned themselves to it...I don't think I could ever be hopeless... |

I got this one.... I fully expected to live the rest of my life alone. Spent years at it..I was damned good at it too. Sure I hoped but, in my heart...I just always felt that it was my destiny. Even to the point that after my friends and family accepted it..they came to envy my relaxed and peaceful lifestyle. Fate threw all my preconsieved ideals right out the f**kin window. After spending sooooo much of my life alone....I am actually exctatic...That I will not end up alone......never saw that one coming. |

And that's one of the points I'm trying to make...I see lots who are NOT happy with it but have just resigned themselves to it...I don't think I could ever be hopeless... You are an awesome lady!
