Well, after many best-laid plans gone to waste due to scheduling, budget, etc, we've finally decided to rent a house/condo in the Outer Banks for a week. If anyone is interested, I'm finding some really good prices. Found one 2 bedroom condo in Hatteras Village for less than $800 for the week and a 3 bedroom house in Avon(?), sound side, for $975.

Well i dont know about Hell but sitting next to this pool in Saint Maarteen isnt bad surfing the web for ladies to travel with! The Scuba is great as well! And that 85 degree temp i have to move to a palm ever now and then! Oh the woes of winter traveling! Doug

I am going on a cruise to the Bahamas in December. Way too far away from now but it is fun to have something to look forward too. Cruising is the best vacation ever to those of you who have never done it before!

My boyfriend used to live on Ocracoke and we're looking down toward that area, either in Hatteras Village or Ocracoke itself. Ocracoke's way expensive though so it'll probably end up being Hatteras. I found one place yesterday that was $1000 out the door, 2 bedroom 2 bath, that I think will be perfect. Only hope it's still available when I get my tax refund

Got a free trip to Peking coming up next month...I am quickly figuring out that those Chinese have a different word for EVERYTHING!

I am a Brit living in the Sinai Desert in Egypt and I am planning on going back to the UK for 3 days - and I am not looking forward to it! Its going to be cold and rainy! But after that I am returning to Egypt and heading up to live in Cairo for a new job - teaching English! Now that, I am looking forward to!

In this point I have three plans for summer already, and maybe more to come if I find something interesting. Maybe next month I'm in the situation to leave the decision to a quarter, and let a coin-toss guide me to my destiny.. Options right now are 3 weeks in London, 1 month in Ukraine or a festival-filled summer right here in Finland. I'm currently in favor of London but.. =/

Anyone have any interesting travel plans yet for this year? Where are you going? Where would you like to go? When I leave Iraq I plan to take a week or two and do some travelling. I am thinking of going to Budaphest or Bucarest or maybe Prague. Then after I wrap up all the lose ends in Italy where I live I am thinking of driving up through Austria to Germany to ship my car. Sadly, I am moving to Ohio..haha Im sure that wil be fun too.

I will be in Italy -- we would cruise the med and see Italy croatia and greece....beautiful there!!
