A friend and I are travelling through Bali in late September on our way
to Europe...we could do with a local help us with places to go, and
where the best surf is..could be fun..a pair of crazy Aussie gals...who
can get lost in a department store

That's the plan..hit the reefs...well maybe not hit
them...but get out to the back of the reefs... it's just a
'stretch the leg' visit enroute to Amsterdam...

Hello JJ, I don't think there are many Indonesian people posting on this
site, and as with other sites, it happens every now and again, women
come onto sites hoping to find someone to rescue them from where ever
they live..sort of the Russian bride thing...

Being an Aussie, I figured you were just looking at maybe making some
friends, and meeting up somewhere close to where you were holidaying
anyways...and knowing most Malay and Indonesian people are genuine and
friendly...and english is a second language for many..

Please excuse some from being suspicious, as with a lot of sites there
are scammers..

You're right bout Russian bride thing but not all asian are into it.
Some of us are whealthy & independent enough to not to be such Russian

Seems I just missed you - I was in Thailand about a year ago. Sigh. I
didnt care much for it, and was orginally planning to goto Indonesia. My
grandfather told me stories of his days there - in and around Ternate.
But, plans changed.
