Right... No wonder I had a tough time recalling. Not a big fan. Just read the one book.

Actually she is supposed to be a bail bondsman... and predictably stumbles from one underworld gangland threat to another with the atypical two sexy men to choose from for romance... sans Mills and Boon style.

Maybe she was an original character in the game but he killed her with a lead pipe in the billiard room.

What do you like about them?

Just so you know, I find her ineptness and blatant bimbo-ishness grating.... there's something like thirteen books, plus, about the same character, with the same limp plot....yawn

There are 14 "by the numbers" books, with the 15th coming out soon, and 5 or 6 "outside the numbers" books.

I like them because of the comedy value. I will agree the main plots are for the most part the same, how ever the extra events, and side storys are what I enjoy.

Its almost like life in that way. For the most part a persons life is always the same plot, same story, but its the events that happen, the extras that you don't expect, the good, the bad, the sad and the funny, that makes it interesting.
