I've never done this before, but....

Just wondering if there's anyone here who would be interested in reading a short story I wrote (yesterday and today) called "Specialized" -- it's about a guy who gets divorced and is talked into trying a dating site to meet someone new.

If it was shorter, I would just post it here for the usual feedback, but as it came out to 18 pages, I think that's a bit more than I want to post at one time.

I'm planning on using the story in my fifth book, which, under the current but highly-malleable schedule, looks like it won't be out until sometime next year....

This story has NO sci-fi in it at all, except for the dating site matching question about "What would you do if you saw a robot torturing a baboon?"

Worse part, I read it first as saying "robot torturing balloon." Oh, this is going to be good!

Not sci-fi, silly, science. I'm a life sciences, etc. geek. Info hound type.

I did notice that through site e-mail, it appears to remove all the italics and bolds and stuff. It may be a little weird that way, since I do a lot of internal monologue in italics. But I think it's still comprehensible.
