to make someone care about their children? Do you mean making a parent care for their own children? Or making a step care for the children? I am not sure how to answer. If you are talking to a parent about their children, my best suggestion would be to make it very very clear to them that once the child was born, life is no longer about them, it is about the child or children now. It is a parents job to love, care and nurture a child to become a productive and self sustaining human being. A parent is give 18 years to do it. |

maybe the kids and wife are a big disappointment to the man... maybe he is just a choad and a pecker head.... maybe he is fulfilling a fantasy though another relationship... maybe his values are normal in another country... maybe he just likes making his wife miserable... My question is then why is she putting up with it? Security?

there is no toleration for it....however, I do not wish upon any child to not know their father, unless their father puts their welfare in jeopardy it is in this thought that I wonder how someone could not love and care for their children..are they so self absorbed idiotic or cruel that it truly makes no difference to some people? |

Yes, some people are too self absorbed to care for anyone but themself they will even go as far as putting their child and their self in dangerous, abusive relationships just to "feel" happy for the moment. |
