I did my target 3 concerts in 2008. Backstage, autographs, and pictures. All great shows. All older respected bands. In april 08 I went to see UFO at the medina and ended up on the tour bus. It really meant something to me to tell them they were a big influence to me growing up. Then 4th of july we went to harriet island with 50,000 people to see badfinger. I sat with barry williams (greg brady from the brady bunch) on one side and kyle vincent (lead singer for the bay city rollers) on the other. I ate the backstage food and had a great time. Lots of pics and autographs. Got pulled over by the cops for lane splitting on my motorcycle on the way home. Checked me out and let me go.

That would be one person I would see just to say I did.

And july 5th we went to see head east play a biker benefit at the maibel tainter theatre which is a 100 year old replica of the ford theatre where lincoln was shot. Its the first time a rockband ever played there and heavy security to protect all the crushed velvet, velour, hardwood, and granite in the theatre. It was like a rockband playing in a museum full of artifacts. The band invited us downstairs after the show. Boy we had fun. I had all the pictures of these events up here for awhile.

I haven't decided who I would like to see this year yet.

i dont care for old country type music... some of the newer stuff i like though..

I purchased a rare amplifier from billy gibbons of ZZ top and him and I have mutual freinds. I'd like to hang out with the bad boys of boogie from that little ole texas. I would enjoy that.

I haven't even thought about concerts yet.

Saw ZZ Top way back when, awesome show. Managed to get massively stoned without ever touching a thing, first time that ever happened to me at a concert.

That happened to me at the AC/DC Back in Black tour.

That's a band I desperately wanted to see when they were here in the fall, but at $100/ticket, there was just no way.

To rich for my blood! Wow! I think they were like 25 when I saw them. I have to run. Too many people looking at my car like its a friggin Garage sale.

So yeah ima gonna see if I can get johnny T bone to hook me up with the tre hombres. As for willie nelson. He was selling "Willie spring water" at sturgis in 07. He was all over. I was down on main drag and he pulled up and parked next to me on a borrowed bike. He looked at me and said "Son, you know where a guy can get a haircut around here"? I said "Yeah willie- one block up- second place on the right". He said "Much oblidged". And walked up the street and I sat there on my bike and watched him walk up the street- the crowd making way for the legend. It was cool.
