I don't know you, so you didn't tell me anything. And how is he suppose to stop a war less than 24 hours into office? *shrugs*

And how is he suppose to stop a war less than 24 hours into office? *shrugs* I was thinking the exact same thing. |

he has no power You do realize that he has been in office a little less than 24 hours? This kind of naivety is impossible to combat. |
|
|

he has no power But Dued, He just got in from an alnight party with his friends. How much power do you have all hung over and tired eh? At least he dances better than me. Let him clock-in and take charge eh? |

If you told us that, can you also tell us "how exactly he was expected to stop it"???? This from the guy that called me, Izzie, and Alicia "sluts". |

He just deactivated anyway. I don’t think he realized that the President does not take over immediately after being elected. He left out of embarrassment.

He's been in office for all of about 22.5 hours. Let him at least have the time to get reports in. Besides it won't all be peachy overnight. |

Why do people do that? Deactivate and return shortly after?

There are responsible ways in wich to stop the war, and not just abandon the citicens that have assisted the U.S., and not allow a power vaccuum that would surely lead to their deaths. We need quick reaction posts of elite troops and equipment, and otherwise, leave the country alone, and allow their own police to handle things till they need the reaction of the U.S. upon their request.

Become educated, He plans on doing it within a certain amount of time . Within 2 yrs. troops should be out. I dont like Obama but he's better than other options. Instead of reading or watching what the papers, and news have say ( whom have their own point of view) look at the actual facts.

As others have said, it's been less than 24 hours. AND, even he has said, over and over again, that the problems we as a country face will take a lot of time and effort to solve, this includes the Iraq issue. These problems did not come about overnight nor will they be solved overnight.

He has actually already begun the process of deploying some troops from Iraq and 'revamping' who will stay (so to speak). He is also working on getting them into Afganistan to fix the problems there that they should have fixed in the first place.
The first line of business was a memo that he signed and went out last night to all of the member of the house. All acts that WERE to be enacted are to be temporarily stopped until they have given them further scrutiny. He means business. There will be a better America soon. |
