Am new to this so don't really know how to do anything. Please help with how to IM. Thanks.

When you check a profile it has different buttons to push...if you want to IM them push the " Instant Message" one
And wait til they accept

when you click on a avatar to see someones photo and profile, just below the photo there is a list accross the page you will see a block saying instant message

Or you can go to the bottom of someones profile page and send them an E-Mail
