in witches? well have seen some weird stuff in my life
and sometimes I wonder!!!

I believe that if you allow the devil into your life, then anything is
possible. I personally do not believe in witches, but have known a few
people in my life that claimed to be one.

they are just like vampires. they say they are, but they arent like what
the movies provide you a picture of

I know there are people who practice witchcraft and I think that that
can be a very dangerous thing, if you delve into the occult too much and
similar practices. "Witch" means different things to different people. I
knew a guy whose father practiced witchcraft and some really eerie
things happened in his life.

I think Terry Prachett's witchs are real..the ones in black, with pointy
houses. The new age witches aint got nothing that the old ones have ^.^

Witches?? The practices of Wiccan beliefs???

An ancient practice, long, long time practices, way before Christianity,
and the ousting, of what no longer 'fits' with whatever the current
belief system of that society was.

Wiccan practices were tied to the Earth, the elements, and gods and
goddesses of different energies and elements, all with different
characteristics...

Wiccan practices were based in respect, and healing, and it was usually,
and still to a degree, treated with suspician and fear, and was given a
darker element...

There is also a full understanding, of the dark, and light, forces of
nature, elements, and people, within Wiccan practices,...but as to
calling the 'Devil', (which would mean a belief in Christianity, and one
god) and Evil Spirits, it would be inappropriate to a practitioner of
Wiccan ways to encourage or participate in such activities..

I've witnessed many thing's over the course of my life. But I do know
this to be true. An opened mind....willing to embrace new ideas, no
matter how strange or bizzar they may appear will eventually see that
there are things out here in our world that just can not be explained by
modern science as we know it.

Do I believe in witches?........You bet I do......and alot more then
just that as well.

yeah i do i don't think they wear pointed hats and cackle (unless they
wish to.LOL) but i believe they're real

yea witches,all pagan aspects are meaningfull n relate to the earth ,it
aint just brooms n all allows eve ya now .........

I used to work with a guy who had converted his garage into a white
witchcraft temple. He and his wife would spend hours chanting the names
of old deities (in Hebrew), claiming that they could make anything
happen, as long as it was something that could actually happen in normal
reality, anyway.

I did some investigating and it all looked like a bunch of goatwash to
me. But they believed it, and kept it up until they got divorced. He
died a couple years later.

Nice people, though. I'm glad I got to know them.

define Witch??

I am from a Caribean country where witchcraft is normal,
usually we have (curanderas) which we call healer, they can really heal
the sick, and in the other hand we have the ones who summons spirits,
the soul of the dead, to aid them on what ever job they are doing.... is
scary stuff I just stay away from it, but have seen zombies walking the
streets and fateful to the witch as they call the one who made him like
that, or her!!!!

i cannot say i dont believe in witches... i know that people practice
witchcraft... not sure if anything really comes of it or not as i have
never actually known a person who practices...

And nowhere in wikken is satan worshiped. That is something that has
been thrown at them since biblical times and the creation of the concept
of satan.

what my sister is saying is true, but is more like a voodoo kind of
thing.. I really hate it, but yea some believe fatefully on that!

When I was a young boy I was told by a old lady that I was a warlock in
my past life,,I had to go find out what THAT was,,and never believed her
or had anything strange happen to me.
PERSONALLY,,I believe that WE all were MADE with the ability
of doing ALOT of things with the power of are own minds.
And I think that SOME can draw on that built in power w/o even knowing
it and using it for there thoughts,,,and never really know that THEY
done MADE THAT HAPPEN,,,,whatever they had the thought on,,Self healing,
death, future events, insight, love,
alot,,,
But most of us do not even KNOW WE HAVE IT,,or How to tap into it.

That would explain ALOT of POWERS through the decades that PEOPLE have
thought were OUTSIDE POWERS, like witchcraft,
When a woman lifted a car off her son,,,or the man that fell six stories
and lived,,,the vision a mother had of her son dying
in combat/at the time that he did die, livitation, mind readers.
Just a thought,,,lol

I beleive the human mind is a wonderful and incredable thing that can
give power to anything
