Do you make time for yourself during the day? What do you do?

Yes, everyday is for me & I like to make the best of it.

Why is it difficult to put the Mingle down? Should be a post. I get it but don't do it. I have things to do .

Park my work vehicle with a good view of the snow-capped peaks, or other viewpoint, and be thankful in my heart for my life.
Then, nap.

great idea

I now have every day to take all the time I want for myself, and I do pretty much whatever my heart desires. I actually kind of miss the days when my kids were younger and still at home, and I was running in a million directions. Oh well, life is good!

im single, never married, no kids, no rent or mortgage.

all the time in every day is for myself.

if i didnt work three, 12 hr nights per/week in a hospital saving lives i would feel like a selfish beotch, but...

since i have a career that is devoted to takin care of others i dont feel so bad.

and mostly on my days off i dont do a damn thing. i sit in bed eatin, watchin t.v. Or i do the same thing at a friends house. occasionally i get out the house (besides work) and go out to dinner or a movie or a bar/club or sumthin.

i sometimes feel sorry for people with kids (like my mother) cause they always have to do stuff for their "children".

i think all (good and decent) parents automatically go to heaven for their selflessness.

PEOPLE W/ KIDS, U ROCK. CAUSE W/O PEOPLE WITH KIDS, I WOULDN'T EXIST.

I'm retired and do pretty much what I want.. I did without a lot when raising my children and they know it so I get no flak from them.. They're happy for me that I can travel or do whatever. And I do still spend a lot of time with my kids and gkids..

Being retired I have a lot more time than I once did for myself but I have always tried to do something each day for me. It might actually be while I was doing something for someone else but in my mind my life was always my own and I was thinking about what I wanted to come next. What I do for me now days specificly is read and write. I particulaly like Mingle because so many people seem to be less guarded in this format and their views are interesting.

i always take time in my day to contemplate "the meaning of life"...i still haven't figured out what it is...be seeing you

nap, read, take a bathe, play on the computer, drive, talk on phone, mindless shopping sometimes, sleep

During and after dealing with a particularly frustrating new or current customer, I'm usually hitting a cue ball around.

"Yes, left click and hit A <mumble>7 ball in the corner pocket</mumble>". They don't seem to mind and I have something to vent on when they need me to kick their computer around, I mean um... reboot it.

How do you "make" time???
