i guess i have to disagree with both. A simple "im not interested" would suffice and if they dont get the hint then block them. I myself find it frustrating to spend the time to type an email and get nothing in response.

both are equally bad BUT my personal preference is no reply I hate that... a simple no thank you will work... and in some cases being rude is what it takes for some people to get the hint.... they didn't spare your feelings so why spare theirs?
