I hate doing dishes too. Wish I had room for a dishwasher.

Mmm that's a tough one for me, I'm more on the traditional side, yet I have no problem helping out.

One who believes all responsibilities should be shared in a household? or One who still believes in the traditional roles of a man and woman? (for example: Man cuts the grass - Woman does the laundry) I'm all about Let's (emphasis on LET'S, i.e., Let US) Git 'Er Done. Now, opening doors and pulling out a chair for a woman to sit upon, etc.? That's a different topic unto itself, IMHO. That's called being gentlemanly and just plain and simple: POLITE! |

I believe each should do what they are most efficient at,also considering thier work schedule, & what they prefer doing. In my case that would probably tend to lean towards some traditional roles.
I prefer to clean the bathroom myself, that way I know it's done to my satisfaction. I don't want someone cooking in my kitchen unless they know what they are doing,& understand basic rules. If they do, it's really nice to come home sometimes & have dinner started,& not be afraid to eat it. I don't like my chicken rare. I will get pissed if you cut onions or meat on my bread board. |

(for example: Man cuts the grass - Woman does the laundry) My philosophy is that people are good at certain things... so chores and such should be divided on that premise. I enjoy mowing the lawn actually... but there are always a few tasks no one wants to do, so it should be rotated maybe so no one person feels like they are getting the cruddy part all the time. |
