 What is the most unusual circumstance that you met a person and ended up becoming great friends?

I had a flat on the side of the road and this guy stopped to help me change it. We got to talking and ended up going out the next night. We have been friends ever since

I met my buddy, Lily0923, on here. We started posting on the forums in conversation, then in e-mails, and one night we met up for dinner. We live about 30 minutes apart.
We closed the restaurant down, and are now friends. I'm grateful for this site for it, as she is a beautiful person and a great friend. |

Playing dominoes at a gospel mission, with strangers. I was lousy at it, and the best player decided to teach me. From there, we went on to become good friends, and we remain good friends.
