I only regret meeting someone who was cruel to me. As for regretting past relationships, I am thankful for the good times and what we shared when it was good. And I chalk it up to experience. It is life's experiences that make us who we are today.

To me regret is for people who ignore what they thought was right at the time. I can't say I ever did that in a relationship so I don't have a lot that I regret. Since I see love as something that flows through my life and isn't held in the heart it doesn't really matter if my heart gets broken. I would prefer love and happiness but even heartache is preferable to feeling nothing.
