Well I think the word "up" is a relative term so to yourself you would be pointing up, to someone living on the equator you would be pointing to the side, and to someone on the north pole you would be pointing down.

That's silly.
If you were at the south pole you'd be squished between the Earth and the tortoise. |

That's silly. If you were at the south pole you'd be squished between the Earth and the tortoise. Makes me want to go to Antarctica to go see the amazing tower of turtles! |

I like turtles Yeah - I haven't been on much lately - with the holidays, work and kids. And the Eagles are doing well. I'm pretty happy about that. We'll see what they can do this weekendin Glenside. How are things for you my man? |

stand at the south pole and point up aren't you actually pointing down? Would require you to define your points of reference. If you are pointing into space you are pointing at something but is it up or down...? He He He.... |

Speaking as one of the lower sideways dwellers....
if you stand at the South Pole and point up..... you are directing your energy and other's attention to either skies....night or day, and if you are REALLY blessed... the Aurora Australis... PSssssssssst!! What's 'up' ? The word has no reference for me... |
