Anyone see it? I'm watching it now, good movie but very sad.

Havn't seen the movie, but the book was good entertainment. I got stranded in a snowstorm last year & read it almost in one day.

I saw it in the movie theater. Loved it! But I am like hollywood versions of historical stuff (most of the time).

Well its that time period and all the contexts. I am glad that I don't time during that time period. Especially where they lock down pregnant women.... that couldn't of been completely healthy.

I just finished the book and another from the collection "the boylen inheritance' I can't wait to watch it! stuff like that really helps to get into history..too bad it wasn't out when i took european history, i might've paid attention!

When I had european history a few semesters ago, the professor's research focus was on french history... I found it interesting. She did her best to make european history understandable.
