Topic: Walking on eggshells | |

Do you "walk on eggshells" around any of your friends because a certain topic, question, or statement may set them off? Yup. All the time. What's worse is the "walk on eggshells" malarkey is one-sided too- they can say what THEY want and feel they aren't subject to any censorship of any kind, while I gotta be hushed the second I open my mouth. It's a conspiracy, I tells ya! |

It's a conspiracy, I tells ya! See that is not a person I would consider a friend. They might be someone I know and have to deal with but I would never think the relationship defined the idea of friendship. I wouldn't trust them to do anything in my best interest or to be trustworthy if they were that selfish. |

Yes. Can't mention GOD around one of my athiest freinds- she becomes a twitching retard. Can't mention politics around another freind because he becomes dumb. And yet I have another freind who if you mention his Ex goes into a smash everything rage. So yeah, I gotcher eggshells.

Not really... some topics are off the discussion table because we've agreed to disagree and there is no point. But my friends know me and visa versa. That's part of the friend criteria, IMO. |
