You're right... and I too, have done that. I've also taken him fresh squeezed lemonade or a nice cold beer while he's out mowing the lawn or doing yard work. Also took a tray of Beer and Ice Water with snacks out to him (to share) while he stopped to chat with a neighbor during his lawncare break.

All jokes aside who am I to say what a woman does when she is in love. First every one of them are different, everyone as their reason to love and what to love and I'm sure each woman who loved me probably did for different reasons.
What's important is that she loves not the why. |

A woman really loves when she is happy to say "I love you", simply because a person is loveable, imperfections and all. She really loves when she does not expect anything in return for that love. When she doesn't seek to control or manipulate by loving too much, giving too much of herself, her self respect, or her sexuality, in hopes of avoiding fears of being alone or lonely.
A woman truly loves another person when she realizes that the love she gives may not be returned by the one she gives it to, or even during the time in her life when she expects it. She knows that it will eventually come back to her from her Higher Power, or perhaps from another, at the right time on her journey, her path through life. At the same time, she loves not because she awaits Love given to be returned to her - but simply for the joy of Loving itself. It makes her feel good. This is when a woman genuinely loves. |
