Does anyone do this? Where do you blog? What has your experience been? I'm thinking of starting one, or an online journal. Are they the same thing? I'm wondering if I should do it anonymously. But, then what's the point? I guess I have a lot of questions about it. Anyone who does this or did it, I'd appreciate to hear your thoughts on it.

I blog on my myspace! I enjoy it, it is sharing your thoughts and feelings with friends. .That is if you set your profile to private. Now is you don't do that then anyone can read it!! It is a nice place to just let go!!

bigsmile I do it all the time.bigsmile Lot of crazy people out there and sometimes it entertaining to read their idiocy but mostly it gets tiresome trying to reason with crazy people.bigsmile

thanks for the info and suggestions. I am thinking I will start searching an actual online blogging community like LiveJournal.

I've done it. I'd be careful about privacy, especially on the net. If you have reasons to protect your privacy, I would recommend doing it anonymously. You'd be shocked at the things that can go wrong....

That's what I was thinking. Doing it anonymously. Otherwise I would not really be free to write like it was my journal.

Its hard to write freely when you know you are writing for someone else.

I think that's the best route. I used to do it faithfully on Blogger.com for friends and family and they absolutely loved it. But after awhile, there was contention with my ex and things I wrote even though I always tried to remain diplomatic. I ended up doing some blogging on myspace but that too can get drama filled. You will enjoy it more if you can keep your anonymity. Have fun with it!

Yeah, it was fine. It had all the options I needed and their template was nice. I didn't want something that required me to know coding to make the layout how I liked it. It also had options to make things as private as you liked, in case you just wanted to invite certain readers. If you plan to use picture blogging I would check out something that's more geared towards that.
