i want to talk about dogs. not the kind u date, but the kind that go arf, bark, and shift.
does anyone own a GS...german shepherd? and what do you feed them? i am taking care of one that is skinny. he came to me at 59 lbs.....underweight, and was eating nutra nuggets. so i read that GS's need meat, raw red, wheat, cabbage, and other stuff. um so who has time to cook this stuff? and what about the BARF diets...u know the kind of raw stuff that u freeze and it can cost a fortune? i fed him, the dog, not my husband, raw red meat until he got sick of it, then went to...cooked white rice, and boiled chicken. he loved it. but this is expensive. i could not afford to try every type of dog food kibble variety out there, so in desperation, turned to the old folks section of Mingle2.com...cause u know it all coming and going... ![]() |

I switched to Purina One for my dogs,[chicken and rice] they love it and it has all the vitamins and nutrients they need. If he does not like it dry add hot water. If he is not gaining, it could be he has a worm infestation. You can get worm medicine at you local dog shop or your vet. i want to talk about dogs. not the kind u date, but the kind that go arf, bark, and shift. does anyone own a GS...german shepherd? and what do you feed them? i am taking care of one that is skinny. he came to me at 59 lbs.....underweight, and was eating nutra nuggets. so i read that GS's need meat, raw red, wheat, cabbage, and other stuff. um so who has time to cook this stuff? and what about the BARF diets...u know the kind of raw stuff that u freeze and it can cost a fortune? i fed him, the dog, not my husband, raw red meat until he got sick of it, then went to...cooked white rice, and boiled chicken. he loved it. but this is expensive. i could not afford to try every type of dog food kibble variety out there, so in desperation, turned to the old folks section of Mingle2.com...cause u know it all coming and going... ![]() |

okay got my socks on but still freezing.my apartment is so warm I usually just have the bedroom heater on and the bathroom. The couch is up against the heater in the livingroom and my quilting frames are stacked there. But I may have to get off my duff and move things so they don't find my frozen stiff body at my computer lol
