Topic: Help me....what do you talk about after meeting someone? | |

well you should be asking open ended questions and then listening. Once they start talking it will just go naturally. But if you ask closed ended questions you end up with a boring conversation.

I think i found someone that i really connect with. What do you all say to keep the conversation going? What do you start talking about after you have asked them all the basics??? I am kind of at a loss since you have covered the basic's. What are the basic's. When there is a connection in my book the conversation should flow easily and naturally. Don't make it harder than it should be, relax and continue to chat about common interests, goals, etc.. Good luck |

I think i found someone that i really connect with. What do you all say to keep the conversation going? What do you start talking about after you have asked them all the basics??? That's just it......... I'm not really a fan of the "interview" date. The same questions are asked as if you're auditioning for something, then when the questions run out...there are crickets. When I want to know about someone, I simply maintain a general conversation period...... when people are comfortable with each other just chit chatting away, they actually reveal a lot about themselves because it is natural and there is less pressure to try to answer questions "correctly" to impress the other person. But then again, that's just my humble opinion... but becuase of the way I converse, I've never run into those awkward--- the questions are used up..now what?--- moments. |
