As I initially set up my profile a few days ago, I was griping to myself about my pics ~ I don't like pics of myself, I'm just am not a photogenic person ~ those that know me in 'real life' would say I'm fine in person, not so in pics. So, that got me to thinking ... since the vast majority of us tend to react differently to someone that's pretty or handsome, especially in a dating environment, do you take into consideration the question of whether someone is photogenic when looking at the different profiles ? I actually caught myself NOT doing that. What are your thoughts ?

I do...because I am the same way...have never liked pics of myself and do not photograph well

personally , if other ppl take pics of me i hate the way they look, most of mine on here i took with time lapse video on a web cam, i like those but i hate other ones i'm in, and for some dang reason my eyes look blue in my pics and my eyes are hazel

go figure

i dont really care about pics all that much , what someone looks like doesnt make a damn about what that person looks like on the inside

A lot of us use avatars...so the question is rather moot to me...

I'm not photogenic, either. And, yes, when I look at people's pics, it does cross my mind that they are not, either.

... you almost had me there with the whole piniped pic, but you, my dear, are hot. Period.

What you have to realize is some people know a little bit about photography...different angles lighting ect. make a person look completely different than they are. So you should keep in mind just because the look "hot" doesn't mean they are. And those that look "ugly" they could be good looking.

maybe we can take up a collection to help you out
