recognize and respect israel's right to exist. While disregarding them as a proper noun. |

How would you end the Israel and Palestinen conflict? umm stop firing rockets at israel? ... or stop shooting Red Crescent ambulances, blowing up schools and then get the US to stop funding Israel when there was no attack by israel against hamas, there were no attacks by israel on any weapons caches or hamas vehicles yet there were still thousands of rocket attacks against israel civilians by hamas. meanwhile, hamas uses schools and mosques to hide weapons amidst civilians, hamas uses ambulances to transport soldiers and arms. recently, a leader of hamas actually had to broadcast a request that hamas militants cease using ambulances for cover and transport so that they would not be targeted... if the rockets had not been launched there would be no war now. when the rocket launching stops, the military operations will end. |

how is it that other nations around them seem to feel threatened by their presence??? I can understand why israel would feel threatened. Well, unlike yourself, If I was receiving the latest military technology from United States, not being bound by United States to beg for permission to have nuclear weapons (as Iran apparently is), receiving massive monetary subsidies from United States, I would definitely be afraid of all those stone age countries around me, that are using WWII soviet Katushas to beat my laser-guided, sattelite and drone assisted weapons from uncle Sam. Very afraid. if my enemies were my neighbors...it would be suicidal to use nucs. |

Isn't it ironic that other countries such as Russia, China, India, or European Nations don't directly get involved with the Israel/Palestinien conflict. Why is that in your opinion? Oh yes they do & have...more than you know. Haven't you heard of the Russian war in Afghanistan? They fought Al Quaida too. The Russians also controled all those breakaway baltic nations. Lots of muslims there. China has their hand in everything too. As far as Europe...they are so interconnected they seem to just roll over & play dead as though out of neccessity. Sad...very sad. Well Russia was involved with Afghanistan but are not involved with the Israel and Palestinen conflict. China is interested in raping raw materials from other countries to feed their huge factories to produce goods. It is a business Europe isn't involved directly, but they do worry about Iran's nuclear ambitions, but not too much the Israel and Palestinen conflicts. I was refering to the Israel and Palestinen conflict and not the other countries. All of Europe is involved...they hide their heads in the sand out of neccessity. As when Hitler swept thru Europe...they let them in thru the front door for the sake of peace. Same with the terrorists. Sad...very sad... |

OH BULL! In today's day & age if people were civilized they would be able to live in peace ANYWHERE around the world. That means owning businesses land & anything else in their pursuit of freedom. The fact that they don't want that & just want to continue the cycle of irrational hate is disgusting. I am amazed that people want to argue separatist ideals instead of the idea of the pursuit of happiness for ALL people! ???? What's wrong with this picture????? Do you, for instance, want to be governed by Iranian law? No way...that's what I'm saying...if you can't play nice & share your toys it's time to rip the lid off the stone aged thinking. |

You are absolutely right. Hamas decided when the 6 month truce was over that it was going to send Rockets into Israel. Then when Israel hits back hard they want a cease fire. Israel should of been allowed to finish the job in June. But we sent Condolise Rice over thier and 2 days later they said they were stopping. We said that we would consider any country that harbored terrorists the same as the Terrorists themselves in Bushes 2003 State of The Union Speech. So are not our Allies especially one who has been through what Israel has with hammas allowed the same to go after terrorists where ever they may be? Or is that just something a Super power is allowed to do? |
