is that attractive? or is it that typical saying, "this is america, learn some damn english!"

Well...there is a Mexican woman at work that ceoms in and gives me a hug as I am leaving work and she is coming in for third shift.

Occasionally she'll whisper something in Spanish into my ear as she's hugging me. I have absolutely NO idea what she's saying....but DAMN it sounds hot.

I am gonna have to go download some Spanish lessons.

Of course...I may find out that she's cursing me....lmao

well nothing is wrong on speaking it
for me i wasent raised to speak it for my dad didnt want us to learn it..(my dads pregudist against mexcians) yea it didnt make any sense why he married my mom and they were married for 21yrs... he never really made much sense.
my sisters are learning it now even my daughter and my grandkids..
i used to go out with this one guy many many moons ago that spoke spanish and he insisted for me to sit in front of the tv and watch the spanish tv shows and i wouldnt for i didnt understand. his mom didnt speak that much english.

i would use a english translator every now and then when i did readings for clients.

The person is the one that is attractive, just be who you are whatever language. I am French but knew joining here that I should speak & write English most people here are so only fair.

Es la verdad!! I've been speaking Spanish for almost 9 years now (not that great at writing it) and I think it's a great language.

lol i was born in guatemala city, guatemala. yo sabe que mi espanol no es perfecto, pero ademas, yo pienso que es muy bonito.

Spanish and French, etc. are pretty languages. But, I'm not sure what "attraction" and the US have to do with it all. One should endeavor to speak English in the USA. I wouldn't know about the rest of the American continent.

i think it's time for americans to learn other languages, and stop being so prejudice about other walks of life. the U.S. is falling behind with our pompous "texas-sized" arrogant attitude, not to mention the KKK members that i hunt down, but there's always more...(where do they come from?) the intelligence in my country is appalling, and is related to fast food, the gimme now, and screw you attitude, is growing exponentially to unstoppable proportions...... some, not all!, americans need to wake-up and learn about the world. i'm sorry on behalf of my less educated countrymen and women that insult you.

I think ability to speak another language is always a plus. always!
